Ipsos India has undergone a consolidation and realignment of key specialties to address evolving client requirements and business needs. The roles of several top specialists in the leadership team have been enhanced in response to these changes.
Krishnendu Dutta, previously the Country Service Line Leader of Market Strategy and Understanding (MSU), has taken on an expanded role as the Group Service Line Leader for Innovation and MSU. In addition to this, he will oversee the business for the Innovation Service Line in India. Archana Gupta has been appointed to lead the MSU service line.
Jyoti Malladi, who held the position of Country Service Line Leader for Brand Health Tracking (BHT), now assumes the role of Group Service Line Leader for BHT & Creative Excellence. She has also streamlined her team, with Ruchi Govind leading Brand Health Tracking and Ananya Roy Mathur heading Creative Excellence service lines.
Amit Adarkar, CEO of Ipsos India, emphasized the importance of integration in the “new normal” business environment. He stated, “While MSU provides clients with market understanding, advisory, brand positioning, and shopper insights; Innovation primarily works in innovation and forecasting, product testing, and packaging research. Both service lines are complementary.”
Adarkar further highlighted the synergy between BHT and Creative Excellence, explaining that while BHT focuses on brand activation tracking and brand equity measurement, Creative Excellence offers expertise in creative development, assessment, and effectiveness.
In the context of marketers being time-strapped and the need for integration, Adarkar emphasized that this restructuring enables cross-selling and addresses client needs with fewer touchpoints. Ipsos India is prepared to offer a range of contactless and agile solutions as clients gear up for the second half of the year. Adarkar concluded by expressing Ipsos’s commitment to partnering with clients during these turbulent times with agility and attentiveness.
